Customer Reviews about Cudahy Veterinary Clinic
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪The staff was nice and treated my dog well. Their hours are pretty good, and they were easy to get into. But I have a problem with their policies. Their online vetstore is more expensive than other online vendors, but they refuse to authorize prescription requests from outside vendors. They told me it's illegal for them to do that. You can get a printed prescription to fill elsewhere, but they charge you $5 just for that piece of paper. So you either have to pay a ridiculous fee for the printed prescription itself or pay higher prices in their online store.October 05, 2017by Adrienne Birkholz
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I have been taking my 2 cats to this clinic for 6 or so years. The people are nice and even when they changed ownership I stayed. The new vet Dr. Shampo and staff are also friendly. I liked the hours and location. But I have to agree with a previous review that said it seems new ownership's priority is profit. I took my old cat in recently to continue getting his meds. His "exam" was feeling his abdomen. It didn't even take two minutes. This new vet (brunette lady) did not look in his eyes, ears or mouth. She didn't ask me if I had any concerns. A few days later I call to inquire about the pain meds Dr. Shampo previously said was safe for cats and informed them he has stopped eating. They refused to tell me the pain reliever and instead said I had to bring him in AGAIN. Sadly, I'm shopping for a new vet that will do a thorough exam and not look for reasons to create an office visit and maybe actually diagnose the reason my cat is in pain in the first place. Also, the meds I do get from here seemed to go up every month. The first time I got them it was $14 and change. Within a year the price rose by about 25%. The first time the price was entered wrong in the system. After that it was inflation. It was to the point that I stopped commenting each time the price went up and just expected it and paid it.March 11, 2017by Tennita Funmaker
